Project Outline:
Construction of New Animal Re-homing Shelter.

Description:
Construction of five new single storey building to provide; Re-homing kennels; Isolation Building, Dedicated Puppies & Kitten Building; Admission Building and Covered external exercise yard.

Services Provided:
The Mechanical (Plumbing) and Electrical fit out of all of the new buildings and upgrading works to the existing Reception Buildings. The buildings were fitted with various methods of heating/cooling to suit the specific use of each individual area. Wet underfloor heating, electric underfloor heating, traditional wet central heating tempered ventilation. All the buildings were served by air-handling units to ventilate the buildings automatically. The whole site was supplied with a new electricity supply which was then distributed throughout the site. The buildings were supplied with an integrated Fire Alarm serving all of the building and monitored centrally. The buildings were equipped with their own laundry and food preparation areas to be as self sufficient as possible.
